Pediatric First Aid
This course provides basic life saving first aid skills and knowledge of dealing with emergencies in young Children and Babies including:
- Managing an emergency (practical)
- Role of the first aider (including knowledge of health and safety regulations)
- Communication and casualty care
- Child and baby resuscitation (CPR)
- Unresponsive baby
- Unresponsive child
- Choking baby
- Choking child
- Allergic reaction
- Minor and severe bleeding
- Seizures
- Shock
Delivered by our Friends at Spartan Training, this course is assessed with continuous observation and assessment throughout the 2 days,
successful candidates will receive a certificate.
All courses last for 2 days between 9am and 5pm,
Lunch can be provided at additional cost.
Water is available for free, various soft drinks are available to purchase on site.

Located a stones throw from Carlisle train station, with a car park right outside, our Friends at Alien Nightclub Carlisle kindly accommodate this training course.
Lunch is provided by the neighboring Ibis hotel Carlisle City Centre which also doubles up as a great place to stay if accommodation is required*.

Travelling to the Location:
Alien night club Carlisle is situated on English gate plaza, CA1 1RP.
By Car: a pay and display car park is available right outside.
By Bus: travel to Ibis hotel bus stop on Botchergate, with your back to the road Alien night club is the other side of the building directly in front of you.
By Train: exit Carlisle train station onto Court square,
walk up to the traffic lights and turn right onto Botchergate,
continue walking towards The Ibis Hotel, just before you reach The Ibis Hotel there is an opening (looks like a V shape with Botchergate)
head through the opening towards the car park,
Alien night club is the second business on your left.
